What’s this? Why it’s sage of course! It is amazing how many varieties there are. Nature is amazing actually. This macro photo has the glow of celebration about it, kind of holiday-ish, so I decided to use this image for my December 2010 calendar.

Here’s another macro photo I took of anemones blooming last month. For some reason this image reminds of warm apple pie with ice cream on the top. I think it’s the caramel tones and “glow” of the flower petals that does it. Anyway, nom nom nom, I ♥ apple pie a la mode.
