It is very difficult to capture all the details of an entire leaf in one photograph. I took my best *shot* with my macro lens and this is the result. Do you see the little mosaic tiles?

For some reason, the center of this flower reminds me of a pincushion. This macro shot wanted to be processed in sepia, and I said “fine, let’s do it”.

This macro shot of black pearls glistening in the light reminds me of a snake; hence the title. That’s the necklace: word has it that Santa is supposed to be bringing me a matching pair of earrings for Christmas.
