I took a shot of some brand new ‘bobble-top’ iron railings for a photography course once, and it came out very well. Only a short time later, the coating was peeling and there were rust spots coming through – still photogenic in an entirely different way, but wow, the quality wasn’t up to much!
A beauty, indeed. I really like the blueish tones the chain has, and how it blends in the bokeh… nice.

This fence is at our local arboretum. Not sure how old it is, but this was a fun shot.
i love macro photography. i shame i dont own a macro. i must admitt take you take quite an composition out of such a “simple” motive.
