I am still hurting today and have made zero progress on assembling my new desk. Moreover, my beautiful new desk chair is not feeling as comfortable as it did when I was sitting in it at Ikea. Bah! This image just seems appropriate for today’s post. Ouch

In stages (II).

Another image of coneflowers in various stages of growth; however, these are the yellow variety (like yesterday’s). Different to the purple ones in that the petals tend to droop, but just as lovely. This is the last shot in my little coneflower series. Thanks for viewing.

Glory Crowned

Continuing my series on coneflower images, this photograph was taken during the height of last summer when there were flowers everywhere. The coneflowers just opening in the foreground of this shot remind me of crowns like the old kings used to wear, and that is where the title comes from.
