I love blue spruce trees, they give us color all winter long! I prefer this L on B
Am attempting to participate in NaBloPoMo again in February. I posted every day in November and December. Last month I wasn’t able to do so on a daily basis. We’ll see how it goes for February.

I love Blue Spruce also – great trees! Great photo too, like the composition
Thanks Jill!
Wow, this is beautiful. I love the blue. Thank you for visiting and commenting on my blog.
Thank you Kirsten.
What a nice DOF Kala. This gives a beautiful accent to the blue color
Thanks Richard.
I’ve learnt a new word in english blue srpuce tree.
It’s a real great shot.
What is NaBloPoMo ?
Bien à toi !
Hey Bernard, first thank you!
NaBloPoMo is short for National Blog Posting Month. Participating bloggers are supposed to make a post a day for a given month. You can go here to learn more.
Lovely colors and great DOF!
It ain’t easy finding colors like that in Sweden right now, everything is covered in white snow and ice!
Aww, spring will come!
Nice cool colors… Great shot..
Thanks!
Very pretty blue spruce! And a nice close up of one ‘twig’. Always fun to focus on one tiny part, isn’t it? And you did a great job of keeping it sharp while blurring out the background. Good one!
Thank you Jay.
and they must smell very good too, no ? I love these tones … it’s amazing how you obtain these colours and background ! What camera are you using ? I am planning to buy a Canon reflex but I am asking around to get advice
I shoot with a Canon Rebel and I really like it. There are different models to choose from depending on your budget. A new camera – how exciting!
What a lovely shot! Good luck with Nablo. I am planning on doing it in Feb also. Wish me luck!
Thanks. I hope I can make a post a day!
Love the overall effect of this photo! Something for my eye to focus on, yet I keep getting drawn to the out of focus background. Love it!
Thanks Jeff.
What a super enchanting shot..beautifu colors..l stellar! Magical!
Kiki~
Thanks Kiki.
I’m going to try for nablopomo too. I didn’t quite make it through december, and i think i only posted 3 times in january, so this should be another fun adventure.
I know, it takes a bit of a dedication doesn’t it?
Great picture again!
Thank you!!
Beautiful colors!
It’s been very hectic for me lately, and haven’t had the chance to comment on your other photos… but you know I love them, right?
Hey Juan, always nice to see you stop by for a visit.
Another lovely shot!
Good luck with NaBloPoMo in Feb. I’m going for it again as well…I just gave up on reposting everything for a second time on that site.
Thanks and good luck to you too.
Blue spruce are beautiful trees. Nice photo. I like white pines because the needles are so soft.
I too like the white pine needles for their softness. Thanks for stopping by.
First of all, thank you for visiting my blog today. I so appreciated seeing you there. Secondly, I’d like to compliment you on your post today. The composition is excellent, the colors exquisite. You did a fine job in your capture. I love blue spruce, too. As I mentioned in my post, I’m very fortunate to have such a wonderful sister. Not only can she identify most plants, she even remembers them! Good luck with your efforts to keep up with your NaBloPoMo. ~ks
Thanks for the visit. I wish I could take your sister along with me when I go out shooting
I love the blue! And its an interesting view of this spruce..it almost has an animated aspect to it;)
It does kind of!
Kala, I’m such a ninny! I put the wrong blog address in my previous comment. My sister can remember plants, and I can’t even remember my blog address! ~ks
No problem, I forget my phone number sometimes because when do I ever call it?
Great photo! I love spruce trees also. It’s hard to post everyday but it is nice when you can,.
Thank you and it IS hard!
Awesome. Beautiful one!
Thanks Regina.
Toning is the one that is taking my heart away but DoF and the composition in itself is also just as beautiful.
Thanks so much.
Beautiful bokeh on this image!!!! Lovely!
Thanks Jennifer – I’m a bit of a bokeh-holic.
Lovely macro!
I have really enjoyed scrolling down and looking at your beautiful images.
‘A bokeh-holic’ – you do it wonderfully.
Thanks for your visit.
Thanks for stopping by. Glad you like the blog.
I’m with you on the loving of this tree and it’s colour, it’s just something different from all the green we see this time of year. Wonderful shot as always.
Thanks Sarah.
Oh, love the color! Blue spruce is a wonderful color, isn’t it? And I love your composition too.
G’luck with NaBlo. I too am going to try it for February. It’s a shorter month, so we should be a bit luckier this time around. *Fingers crossed*
You’re right, I never thought of it being a bit easier because it’s a shorter month!

Thanks my friend!
This is so pretty. If it hadn’t been for the title it would have taken me a bit to realize what it was.
Thanks Sherri for your visit.
Ah! A very nice example of the beauty of nature. A simple thing like a spruce prpared in the focal plane. nice shot!
Thanks for stopping by.
Oh, Kala….another gorgeous example of simple being so much more!
Thanks Albina.
WOW… lovely! (am catching up with blogs… on to Flickr contacts next… snowed in here due to “blizzard of Feb 5-6, 2010″ dropping over 2 ft of snow!)
Thanks Victoria
