I captured this image last spring when the crab apples were blossoming everywhere. The title of this shot is Over roads.

Superb work on DoF and they really look very beautiful.
Thanks Ajay.
Stunning. Absolutely, gorgeous.
And…oh yeah, I WANT SPRING!
It will be here before you know it.
So many people don’t like Crabapple trees. I’ve always loved them and now I miss them. I grew up with them in abundance in Ohio. I’ve never seen one in Arkansas.
Well, I love crab apple trees and they bloom in profusion here in Northern Illinois (usually during the middle of May).
The colours ae beautiful! Really does look like a painting!
Thank you Krista.
love your lens, i think the out of focus painting effect is just too awesome haha
I love this lens too. Some people mistakenly think bokeh is created in Photoshop! WRONG. I don’t own CS4.
The title really adds to the picture. Great colours and composition.
Thanks!
A beautiful shot, so vibrant and alive. Lovely perspective and the perfect title.
Thank you.
I’ve scrolled down and I really like your series – quite impressive body of work.
Lovely images!
Thank you for the lovely compliment.
It’s a fantastic photo. Such a depth by the DOF, beautiful colors. Great work Kala.
Thanks Richard!
Wow, your photographs are really beautiful. I agree with those above. Fantastic work.
Thanks Kirsten.
spring is yet in your blog !
not in mine
Bien à toi !
It’s time for spring!

Hey Gena, thanks for the visit.
The flowers look amazing! I don’t think we have these in Texas. What a visual treat it is to visit your blog daily!
Sherri mentioned that she hasn’t seen them in Arkansas either. Perhaps they don’t grow in warmer climates.
Kala: Great image…color is really neat. Thanks for your comment on my Ribbon Grass. Your comments are always appreciated and respected.
Thank you I’m glad you like the color and you’re quite welcome.
Super shot! LOVE it!!
Thanks Kerri!
I am SO READY for spring… just knew I’d get a cheery view or two or three from visiting your blog… love this photo especially although all (including the “Rule Breakers” which looks like a painting to me) are wonderful as always! (We are in the midst of snowstorm #3 for February and blizzard #2. (first storm wasn’t classified as a blizzard… lucky us!) It’s been snowing and blowing for nearly 24 hours and I’m SO ready for snow to be over.)
I am ready for spring too!
Very gorgeous dof! Wish we had those trees here!
They are gorgeous trees. Wish you had them too.
so gorgeous I love that pink!!!!
Thank you!
I like it: the bokeh seems to be symetrical with the flowers. Great!
Yes, it does in fact. Thanks for stopping by.
This is just wonderful. Beautiful composition and colors. Another home run Kala!
Thanks Craig!
Looks like a chocolate box picture! Interesting focus, too. I like to experiment with different depths. You can be really creative!
Hey Jay, thank you.
Thanks for visiting my blog. Your work is FAB!!!!
Thanks Zoe.
