I think they are celandine too. Just beautiful, like you make everything. Are they blooming now? I was wondering what zone you garden in?
Have a great weekend.
I have these flowers in my yard. I have no idea what they are either – but they can be a little weedy. They completely disappear after they bloom so it doesn’t bother me. I love your shot of them.
Thanks for your comment. I’ve just started a macro flower meme and I came back to invite you to participate with your beautiful flowers.
I hope you do. Coffee is ready.
Difficult to say what kind of flower this is.
For finding out the type you need pix from leaves and so on
But i also think (after looking in my flower-book) that it is a “lesser celandine”. Growing “march-may” is ok…
Don’t eat it, its toxic
Great shot-I love the “flowers unknown.” Beautiful colors and most excellent bokeh. Maybe, if we all knew what they were (exactly) we would not love them so much, so it might be best to leave them a bit mysterious and not find out what they are? Pretty no matter the name, I’d say!
I think that they might be the wild celandine, which is the first out here too. You can read all about it here…

Aren’t they just lovely. And thanks for your lovely comment of a few minutes ago.
Thank you George!
I have no idea what they are but you have captured them beautifully, gorgeous colors
Thanks JJ
Once again, a beautiful photo. The colors are wonderful.
Thanks so much.
These colors are magnificent. Love the bokeh!
Thank you.
Those are gorgeous! And you are lucky to have any flowers at all at this time of year, at least from my perspective.
The first green shoots of my crocuses have *just* pushed through the last of the melting snow here in my neck of the woods!
My bulbs are just coming up too!
These are ‘beautiful’ flowers, that is what they are
nice shot Kala.
Thanks my friend.
Lovely
Thanks
They look like wildflowers…the best kind in my opinion.
Yes, I agree.
I really love the colours in this one and the arc of the flowers…lovely capture!
Thank you Michelle.
No idea about the type of flowers, but the picture is beautiful! Love the way you’ve captured them.
Thanks!!
You can almost see them growing in this beautiful image. I cannot wait for some spring colour and rays to wash away the winter blues here.
I think we are all anxious for spring.
Absolutely INCREDIBLE! Great shot!
Thanks Tricia!

Hi kala
Beautiful composition, lovely colors and very nice bokeh
Congrats!
Hello! and thank you.
It is a nice shot and flower but a bit of a scourge at work. It does bloom nice and early so hats off for that.
Rebecca mentioned that they can get weedy, but they’re pretty nonetheless.
awesome!! that purple background adds the perfect touch, too. beautiful photo.
Thanks Jill.
