I like the warm tones even more Kala…..good job….i am glad that you got a new hard drive…..i am sure that Hubs is going to load you up with all kinds of new apps along with all of your pics….peter:)
Great to have a guardian angel Kala who can fix up your PC and look after backs-up. It can be such a disaster when things go wrong and I’d suggest that everyone should consider an external hard drive AND on-line storage.
In the case of the latter, Drop Box is free – upto 2 GB – after that it has to be paid for; it’s very easily manipulated and no – I don’t have shares!
My own computer problems made me realise how sensible it was that I took those steps…non of which help when the motherboard dies unfortunately! lol :>)
Anyway, well done on getting to grips with CS and producing such a lovely and evocative image.
congrats on the new drive and the future hubby! ) we are married 20 years this july… together 23. time flies… i hope you love it as much as i do… though, it took some work to get here! )
i thought i liked it in b&w, but this image!! love it! love how the color & light glints off the fence… everything about it… beautiful!
It’s hard to decide which version of this photo that I like better. The previous one has softer light that makes me think of a shaded place to sit and enjoy the passing day. The second has more intense glow that reminds of the hard sun of the midday.
The “bokehed” railing is an interesting touch, too. Well, I know how to solve this dilemma–I like them BOTH.
Wonderful soft, selective focus. Hard drive crash is a scary thing. I have thousands of slides in files that are safe, but the digital stuff can disappear in a blink of an eye. I back up too, and burn to disks as well. Glad everything is working out for you :^)
Oh wow… this gold and glowing image is gorgeous! (alliteration!) (and you are very blessed to have a fiancé who is taking care of your computer troubles)
I´m happy for you! You seem to have a great future husband;)enjoy your weekend with the new hard disk!
