Let there be light!
All a-glow.
From last month, a bright shot of sage blooming. I chose this image for the month of April for my 2010 calendar.
Did I mention the lovely calendar I created of nature images called In softness, beauty and light.? Thought so.
Sugar coated sage.
Although I took this macro shot last month, it has a bit of a wintry feel to it. Ahh nature. Don’t you see *frost* on the blossoms? And so it goes, this photo is featured in my 2010 calendar for the month of January.
It’s in the tones today.
I have no idea what this plant is, but I really like the tones in this shot. Wish I could identify all my nature images: ought to send this shot to the local botanical gardens where I took it, they may know. Anyway, I’m using this macro shot as the September image for my 2010 calendar.
Breezy
Another nature photo of sage blooming in the garden from last month. And I chose this image for the month of March for my 2010 calendar because you know the saying about March winds bringing April showers and all that. Just sayin’.
There’s always a silver lining.
What’s this? Why it’s sage of course! It is amazing how many varieties there are. Nature is amazing actually. This macro photo has the glow of celebration about it, kind of holiday-ish, so I decided to use this image for my December 2010 calendar.
On the Branch
Not sure what these beautiful nature blooms are, but I am sooo glad I was able to capture them when I did last month. A moment frozen in time from one individual’s perspective to another, that is the heart and soul of photography. At least for me. Also: I selected this macro image for November for my 2010 calendar.
In the spotlight.
Another macro nature shot of the subshrub sage.
This image appears for the month of June in my 2010 calendar.
