What’s this? Why it’s sage of course! It is amazing how many varieties there are. Nature is amazing actually. This macro photo has the glow of celebration about it, kind of holiday-ish, so I decided to use this image for my December 2010 calendar.

From September, another nature shot of sage blossoming. Since I have so many photos of the plant, I decided to do a little research. Apparently it is actually a subshrub. I must confess that I had not heard of that word until today! This image appears in the month of August in my 2010 calendar.
